While driving to our hotel (Sleeping Giant Resort), this restaurant caught our eye, due to its inviting design. So, we decided to return the next day for lunch. Very glad we did. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive, and he made the best margaritas (fresh and not with a sugary mix). We shared a beef burger (which used fried plantains instead of a bun) and fish tacos, with caramelized plantain for dessert. The homemade habanero sauce was excellent. If you’re looking for a great place to eat on the Hummingbird Highway, then look no further!

Thumbs up. This gem can easily be overlooked when traveling the Hummingbird Highway thru Armenia. We are so glad we swung back around to glance the menu.
We returned two nights later for dinner. Food selection, the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the staff, the facility, and the pricing was excellent. What a gem.
On our travels back thru we stopped again for lunch and enjoyed a specialty burger.

I had no idea there could be such a great restaurant in this little town! Our airbnb hosts recommended this place, and we were pleasantly surprised! First of all, the atmosphere is great. You eat in these big hut type structures with great lighting and music. There is more than one hut, so it makes the atmosphere a little more intimate. The menu had a lot of options, including jerk chicken, fish, burgers, salad, and pasta. When the server brought it out, I was amazed! It was so beautiful, I had to take a picture. My entire family, including children and teens, loved their food. You won’t be disappointed!
